Carrières du Hainaut (CDH) is the world market leader for the production and distribution of bluestone with sales over circa €45m. It operates one of the largest open-sky bluestone quarry in the world. The company has two sites, one in Soignies and one in Ecaussines (not operational at the moment).

About
Since 1888, CDH supplies a broad and diversified customer base of stone/marble cutters, distributors and contractors for the end-markets of renovation and new building, mainly in Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Germany.
In 2005, Verlinvest invested in CDH alongside Cobepa through a management buy-out transaction and sold its stake in 2019.
