Born and raised in Chicago, I grew up as a competitive figure skater, so it only made sense to attend one of the chilliest schools in America – the University of Michigan. I graduated from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business with high distinction, earning a BBA in Finance and Accounting and a minor in Mandarin. During my time at U of M, I worked on building out an e-commerce business I co-founded to serve home health caregivers.
With a passion for emerging consumer brands, I began my career as an Investment Banking Analyst at William Blair, where I advised clients on M&A and other transactions across the consumer & retail sectors.
At Verlinvest, I focus on sourcing and executing deals across the consumer, retail, and digital sectors. I’m always on the lookout for daring entrepreneurs who use technology and digitization to create better-for-you / higher purpose consumer brands, reinvent education, or revolutionize health and wellness.
I provide ongoing support to our portfolio companies, including Vita Coco and Sambazon.
