The Board of Directors of Verlinvest SA is proud to announce that Stefan Descheemaeker will join the Board at the next June shareholder’s meeting and will then be designated by the Board as its new Chairman in replacement of Frédéric de Mevius.
Stefan Descheemaeker has been CEO of Nomad Foods since 2015. Nomad Foods is a US listed company and is the European leader of the frozen food market with brands like Findus, Iglo, Birds Eye or Lutosa.
Between 2008 and 2013, Stefan was at Delhaize Group, the international food retailer, first as Group CFO and then as CEO of its European division. Stefan is also a professor of Business Strategy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
