Julia Pedret

Growing up in Barcelona, the daughter of two consumer market research consultants, it came as a surprise to no one when I started my career in the consumer practice of McKinsey & Company. During my four years there (split between the Madrid and London offices) I supported leaders in tech, fashion, FMCG and luxury fashion and managed to secure a (dreamed) secondment in the LOEWE strategy team.

After completing my INSEAD MBA, I joined Verlinvest in 2023, with the purpose of supporting those who revolutionize the sector that has always been my passion. Now I focus on building our Beauty and Personal Care expertise and also spend a good amount of time in multi-site entertainment and sports. I serve as a Member or Observer on the boards of Yepoda, Cible Skin, The Climbing Hangar and Boulders and work closely with the Tony’s Chocolonely team.

My favorite part of this job is the continuous learning curve it imposes – not only on trends on the sectors I focus on but, most importantly, from the leadership teams we back and invest on.
