Rafaël Hulpiau

I hold a Master’s Degree in Law from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL) and a Postgraduate Degree in economic law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Prior to joining Verlinvest in 2008, I was a corporate lawyer at UPS and worked as a lawyer at the Brussels Bar for four years.

My current position at Verlinvest is that of Group Secretary and Legal Counsel.

Verlinvest’s legal department covers a broad range of legal and adjacent areas, but its principal expertise is focused in the areas of corporate law and M&A. We intervene predominantly at the level of the Verlinvest group and also in the latter’s relations with its portfolio companies.
