Sandy Paquet

I joined Verlinvest in August 2022, after 5 years at Korys Investments where I coordinated the Corporate Housekeeping. While at Korys, I served as corporate secretary of the Investment and Management Committees for a few years and then supported the direct investment team with the growing demand of compliance-related questions.

I hold a Masters degree in translation, but I built up my legal career through holding various paralegal positions in international listed companies and after getting acquainted with the M&A world at the European Commission’s DG Competition where I assisted on antitrust cases.

At Verlinvest, I am involved in a broad range of legal projects, from the Corporate Housekeeping of group entities to working on all non-M&A contracts, which include business support, leases, insurance policies and HR-related contracts. In our increasingly regulated sector, supporting our Finance and Investment teams with compliance and KYC is also a major part of my job.

Outside of work, I love traveling, preferably close to nature and far away from other tourists. But in the last years, I’ve spent most of my free time expanding my knowledge in educational and cognitive guidance to help one of my kids with special needs.
