Yash Jhunjhunwala

I was born and raised in Kolkata, a city known for its rich culture and colonial architecture. Inspired by my father, an avid stock market investor, I became fascinated with businesses and financial markets. This led me to pursue commerce at St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, and earn my Chartered Accountancy qualification.

My professional journey began with an internship at KPMG India’s assurance practice, where I built a strong foundation in financial analysis. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, I joined Jashvik Capital Advisory, a private equity fund in Mumbai, as an Investment Analyst, working on consumer and healthcare investments.

As a pre-MBA analyst at Verlinvest, I focus on evaluating investment opportunities in the consumer and healthcare space and working closely with our portfolio companies to drive growth. I am particularly passionate about engaging with entrepreneurs, understanding how they’ve built and scaled businesses, and learning from experienced investors and operators.

I aspire to deepen my expertise in investing, build strong partnerships with founders, and create meaningful impact by helping businesses scale sustainably.

Outside work, I love traveling, trekking, playing badminton and cricket, and exploring new cuisines. I also enjoy watching great TV shows and movies. A fun fact about me: I love to sing and never miss an opportunity to do so. Music has always been a source of joy, whether at a gathering with friends or just for myself.
