I graduated a few centuries ago in Economics at LUISS in Rome (Italy). As a young graduate, I started working in the telecommunications industry and, believe it or not, contributed my bit to the launch and success of mobile telephony. Later, but I do not really remember when, I went on to earn a MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau (France). I learned there some stuff about the world of private equity and so I decided to try myself out in such a space, initially with Warburg Pincus in the UK and in the US, and, more recently, with Cinven in the UK and in Italy.
Some time ago on a certain day I decided that I needed to test myself out as an entrepreneur and so launched a number of alternative investment initiatives in Italy and Luxembourg. Happily, they are all still doing well today. I am also involved as a non-executive board member with a number of publicly listed and private companies active in different sectors, ranging from digital marketplaces to space rockets (really).
I thought it could be an exciting adventure and so joined Verlinvest in 2020 as its Chief Executive Officer.
I am now every day more excited about what we stand to do than I was when I joined.
